Drainage & Grading Improvements

Evaluated honestly, improved deliberately.

The diagnosis

Standing water has a cause: a low spot, a slope aimed the wrong way, compacted subsoil, or water arriving faster than the ground can take it. Some of those we fix with grading and material. Some need more than a lawn solution, and we will say so plainly at the evaluation, before anything is quoted.

Method & materials

Every property is different. Drainage work starts with an honest evaluation of the site, never a one-size promise.

Where grading is the answer: soil moved and re-sloped so water travels instead of pooling, surface rebuilt with material that percolates. Where it is not the whole answer, you get an honest read on what is, and what it would involve.

What to expect after

After grading work, watch the next two hard rains — that is the test that matters. Turf recovery follows the same path as leveling work. We would rather lose a job than promise dry ground we cannot deliver; the evaluation tells you which one you have.

Common questions

How much does lawn leveling cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the lawn, the amount of material required, access, and the severity of the unevenness. Request a quote for an accurate estimate. It only takes a few minutes.
What is top dressing?
Top dressing is the application of a thin layer of material across the lawn to help smooth the surface and improve soil conditions.
Can you fix a severely bumpy lawn?
In many cases, yes. The best approach depends on the severity of the problem and may include leveling, grading, top dressing, or full lawn renovation.
